Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and machinery. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and machinery to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Repair and replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and make necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
